40th Reunion Events

Housing Information

The Seton Center, the former convent of the Sisters of Loretta, will be our official reunion headquarters. Rooms are available to rent Friday and Saturday nights for $15 per night. Reservations will be accepted on a first-come basis,  so call Margie Lilly at The Seton Center, 251.433.4138. Most rooms have two twin  beds and a sink. You'll need to bring your own bed linens and towels. Pictures  of the common areas and rooms are on their website:

 TOOLEN PLANNED EVENTS:

     Friday Night, August 8, 2008 – 7 pm – 10 pm at The Seton Center($5 to help buy cups, plates,  etc.). An evening for the Toolen girls to re-connect. We would like for this to be a night for the girls only. Bring your favorite snack  or finger food. Bring your own beverage. .
 
     Saturday Lunch, August 9, 2008 - 11am – 2 pm at  The Blue Gill (on the causeway) ($20 per person/$40 per couple) Harry Johnson, owner and McGill 1968 alumnus is providing a buffet.  couple includes meal and tea or soft drinks. Beer and mixed drinks are available. Everyone is welcome.
 
     Saturday – 2:30 pm - Tour of  Toolen. We will meet at Toolen for a private tour of the building.
 
     Saturday Mass – 5 pm – Location TBA. Cathedral has 4:30 and St. Mary’s has 5 pm masses. We’re trying to schedule a private mass for Toolen & McGill.

     Saturday Party – 7 pm til 12am – "Party at The Temple". (Approximate Cost: $40 per person/$80 per couple) Toolen combines with McGill for an evening party. We’ll have a DJ with karaoke. Food will be catered. There will be a cash bar. We hope to have a photographer who will print pictures that evening. A picture directory will be available – more details when we know how many plan to attend.

Saturday Party - After mass until ??? -  The Seton Center   -  Details to come.
 
 Sunday Brunch – time 11am-1pm at The Seton Center. If you are unable to bring a dish, we ask you to bring $6 to cover the cost of food. We’ll have an assortment of breakfast items, mimosas and bloody marys.  One more chance for the Girls of Toolen to get together before we bid valete to our 40th  reunion classmates. Bring your favorite breakfast item or pick up something-to-go.
